CS2 & CS:GO voice_threshold Command

voice_threshold <Threshold>

This command sets the volume theshold at which your microphone will be enabled if you are using voice activation. In other words, when your microphone is louder than this value, it will be transmitted in-game.

voice_threshold Examples

voice_threshold 2000

This command is the default setting. This makes your microphone activate when volume is above the 2000 theshold.

voice_threshold 300

This command would make your microphone activate when there is very little volume. This can fix issues if your voice isn't being picked up by voice activation.

voice_threshold 4000

This command would make it so that your microphone activates when your voice theshold is above 4000. This is higher than the default setting, which can fix issues like your microphone activating too much.
