CS2 Smoke and Grenade Practice Commands

Never flash a teammate again!

Smokes and grenades are an essential part of Counter-Strike gameplay. They can help teams capture bombsites, finish off wounded enemies, and support teammates who find themselves in tricky situations.

One of the best ways to improve how you use grenades is through practice in private servers, alongside the use of console commands. These can provide you with unlimited grenades to practice with, show you the trajectory of your grenades, and extend your match time to give you as long as you need to practice. Below you'll find all of the commands you need to ensure you master the art of utility usage, and ensure you claim a victory in your next match!

1. Enable the Developer Console

Skip this step if you already know how to open the developer console.

To use the smoke and grenade practice commands, you'll need to have the developer console enabled. To do this:

  1. Go to your CS2 settings
  2. Click on the Game tab
  3. Set Enable Developer Console to Yes
  4. With the console enabled, you can open it by pressing the ` or ~ keys.
