When practicing in an offline game or private server, it can be annoying having to wait for a round to end in order to buy another weapon. If you've dealt with this frustration in the past, you'll be happy to hear that there are console commands to remove the buy time limit from the game.
1. Enable & Open Developer Console
In order to use these console commands, you'll need to have the developer console enabled. Go to your CS:GO or CS2 settings, click Game and set the Enable Developer Console dropdown menu to Yes.
Once enabled, you can open the developer console with the ` (grave) or ~ (tilde) keys on your keyboard. If you're struggling with enabling or opening the console, see this guide for more detailed help.
2. Infinite Buy Time Commands
After opening up the console, entering in the following command will enable unlimited buy time:
mp_buytime 60000
Bonus: Extra Commands
If you find yourself having to return to spawn to purchase guns again, you may also benefit from the buy anywhere command. Typing this command into the console will mean you can open the buy menu from anywhere in the map:
mp_buy_anywhere 1
We find that most people looking for infinite buy time also want infinite round time, you can enable that by copying and pasting this command:
mp_roundtime_defuse 60;mp_roundtime_hostage 60;mp_roundtime 60;mp_restartgame 1
