God Mode Commands

God mode in CS gives you unlimited health and prevents you from taking any damage. It's useful for practicing and pranking your friends. It is activated with a console command.

1. Enable and Open the Developer Console

Skip this step if you've already enabled the developer console.

Go to your CS:GO or CS2 settings, click the Game tab, and select Yes under the Enable Developer Console option. You can open the console after enabling it with the ` (grave) and ~ (tilde) keys.

2. Enable Cheats (sv_cheats 1)

Cheats need to be enabled in order to use this command. To do this, enter the following into the developer console:

CS:GO Only: God Command

This command only works in CS:GO. For CS2's god command, see below.

After cheats are enabled in CS:GO, all you need to do is type the following command into the console:

This command will give you unlimited health and make you not take any damage. If it isn't working, make sure you have enabled cheats with the sv_cheats 1 command. You can disable god mode by typing the command into the console again (it toggles it).

CS2: God Command (Buddha)

The god command was removed in Counter-Strike 2, but don't worry, there's another way to enable god mode: Buddha mode. It's important to note that CS2's god command alternative applies to everyone on the server but you can turn it off for bots.

In Buddha mode you still take damage but your minimum health is limited to 1HP, so you can never die. To enable Buddha mode (and disable it for bots), use the following command:

To disable Buddha for bots (this makes them invincible too), run the following command:
